OUR MISSION

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

The Texas Panhandle Chapter of the American Red Cross has many different volunteer opportunities.  Volunteers are needed to help with Disaster Services, Services to Armed Forces, Health and Safety Class Instructors, various office duties and many other varied opportunities. The Texas Panhandle Chapter of the American Red Cross carries a variety of Health and Safety items ranging from Personal First Aid Kits, 10 and 25 person First Aid Kits for the workplace, Pet First Aid Kits and Emergency Preparedness Kits. Several types of CPR Resuscitator Masks are also available.  Please stop by the offices at 1800 S. Harrison in Amarillo or call the office at (806) 376-6309 to check on availability of specific items.  While our chapter does not allow internet ordering, the national Red Cross store site offers information about some of the more popular items.
