Services to Armed Forces (SAF)

The American Red Cross provides reporting and communication services through a network that links members of the military any place in the world with their loved ones. Calls and messages are relayed every 22 seconds between SAF centers, stations, and chapters.

SAF also provides emergency financial aid to service members, their families, retired military personnel and widows of retired military personnel, in partnership with the military aid societies.

Emergency Messages	Financial Assistance	When calling or e-mailing the Red Cross to send an emergency message to a family member, it is helpful to have the following information
		Service member’s:    Full Name Rank/Rating Branch of Service Social Security Number Military Address Information about the deployed unit and the home base unit (for deployed service members only)
