OUR MISSION

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies.

The Texas Panhandle Chapter of the American Red Cross has many different volunteer opportunities.  Volunteers are needed to help with Disaster Services, Services to Armed Forces, Health and Safety Class Instructors, various office duties and many other varied opportunities. Disaster Action Team seeks New Members

 

If you are interested in being a member of a Disaster Action Team (DAT) please contact Martha Riddlespurger, Diaster Services Director at (806) 376-6309.  Get an idea of how Red Cross volunteers respond to disasters by viewing the movie, F5, on YouTube.  It was produced by the Dallas, TX Area Chapter in partnership with the Southwest Community of Motion Picture Aritsts.
